 Friends of Mysteryis a non-profit literary/educational organization in Portland, Oregon which promotes all realms related to mystery and crime fiction and non-fiction. We sponsor a series of public meetings called

 

Bloody Thursdays, publish The Blood-Letter, and give an annual award, the Spotted Owl, for the best mystery by a Pacific Northwest author. And, we also sponsor a local reading group.

Willamette Writersis the largest writers' organization in Oregon and one of the largest writers' organizations in the United States.
